2011 AlgoViz Awards

We are about to open nominations for the 2011 AlgoViz awards. The nomination form is at here. We do require that all nominees have an associated catalog entry. If you would like to nominate something not currently in the catalog, you can submit a new catalog entry here. Please note that you must register at the site to nominate, vote, or submit new catelog entries.

How did they make it??

Dear all, I’m a totally beginner in this field, I consider to build my own Program Visualization to improve programming skill among novices student.

question about field report

The field report form asks for a link to the AlgoViz catalog entry for the relevant algorithm. I was able to find the algorithm in the catalog, but I couldn’t find a way to locate the requested link.

Awards process status

We are now getting closer to being ready to publicize the site and open the awards event for nomination and voting. The voting page now looks the way that we had envisioned. I have included a voting rubric to help guide the voters. At this point, there are only two issues that I know of still to be worked out. 1) More nominations. Now is the time for people to propose more AVs to put on the voting slate. Self nominations are welcome — If you are involved in developing AVs, consider putting forward what you consider to be your best work.
